Central Avenue Elementary School is a specialized choice program school with a community of lifelong learners committed to using effective and engaging instructional strategies in the classroom. Central Avenue provides an innovative opportunity for elementary students to increase science literacy by offering a Cyber-STEAM inspired Choice program. The Cyber-STEAM program offers a unique range of experiences that build students’ knowledge and understanding of a variety of facets in the STEM arena, including engagement with robotics drones, coding, eSports, and the media arts. STEM education creates critical thinkers, increases science literacy, and enables the next generation of innovators while creating pathways to high-tech, high-income jobs in STEM related careers.
