Boggy Creek is an AVID Showcase School, designed to engage the learners and provide them with the critical skills to become confident, independent thinkers and self-directed learners. Students learn to collaborate productively for learning and develop skills necessary to succeed in the 21st Century. Additionally, Boggy Creek is a Dual Language School that encourages students to develop a second language. Boggy Creek provides students with the skills necessary to enter a competitive international workforce. Inspiring all learners to reach their highest potential as responsible, productive citizens.

Central Avenue Elementary School is a specialized choice program school with a community of lifelong learners committed to using effective and engaging instructional strategies in the classroom. Central Avenue provides an innovative opportunity for elementary students to increase science literacy by offering a Cyber-STEAM inspired Choice program. The Cyber-STEAM program offers a unique range of experiences that build students’ knowledge and understanding of a variety of facets in the STEM arena, including engagement with robotics drones, coding, eSports, and the media arts. STEM education creates critical thinkers, increases science literacy, and enables the next generation of innovators while creating pathways to high-tech, high-income jobs in STEM related careers. Central Avenue Elementary is preparing the students today for the careers of tomorrow.

The teachers and staff at Ventura Elementary work diligently to promote a positive, student-centered learning environment, focusing on helping students grow academically, behaviorally, and socially. Lessons are focused on college and career readiness and designed to make learning hands-on, collaborative, and inquiry based. Ventura provides students the opportunity to prepare for college and career through our AVID program (Advancement Via Individual Determination) and become bilingual and bi-literate through our Dual Language Program. This school year, we are adding a Medical Science and Technology learning track so that all students, K-5, can learn about fitness, wellness, sports medicine, coding, cybersecurity, and robotics. Our goal is to foster a love for learning and guide students in preparing for college and careers.
